As our Regional Sales Representative, you will lead the implementation of DanBreds growth strategy in Western Canada. About the role

In this position, you’ll be the primary point of contact for key accounts in Western Canada, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to after-sales support. You’ll promote our comprehensive portfolio, including live animals, semen, and GenePro contracts, and provide high-level, on-farm service to support long-term success. You’ll also contribute to the development of our multiplication and AI network, represent DanBred at industry events, and drive initiatives targeting key influencers and market opportunities. Collaboration is key: you’ll work across functions to ensure smooth logistics, uphold quality standards, and support our Canadian and global teams. As our Regional Sales Representative you will report directly to the General Manager, Canada.

 

What you bring

  • A degree or diploma in agriculture, animal science, or a related field
  • A proven background in sales, preferably in pig production or livestock genetics
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach and a solid understanding of business drivers
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
